Thank you to all the children for helping make this year’s Christmas tree look so wonderful.
We have been dressing up and raising money for Children in Need today. A huge number of cakes have been eaten but there may still be some left over at the end of the day for parents to buy!
Today we are having a special assembly to celebrate the Armistice centenary on Sunday. The school has a poppy display at the front gate and our year 2 children have been drawing this using computers.
Welcome back everyone to the 2018-19 school year. We have all got off to a good start, especially these students who deserve congratulations on becoming the team captains for this year.
We had a very interesting afternoon exploring many different cultures. Each class had a different cultural activity; here we can see Italy and Hawaii.
Skipping school is well underway and the children are loving this exciting way of getting fit.
Thank you to Wakefield District Sight Aid for coming and talking to the children about what technology is available to help people with visual impairment.
Thank you to all the Outwood Together NQTs and RQTs who came to our workshop. It was nice to see everyone working together.
It’s been great to see our children taking their first steps in orienteering today.
I was very sad to have missed Handa’s Surprise Day in Reception and Year 1. It looks like everyone had lots of fun!
