Here’s some of our work we have created at home:
In 4L, we aim to follow the school motto of ‘Respect’, ‘Believe’ and ‘Achieve’. We ensure that everyone always feels safe and happy in and out of the classroom whilst working hard to reach our full potential. We are lucky to have several adults in our class who support us: Mr Lai, Mrs Rollerson, Mr Smith and Mrs Dale. Our class buddies in 4L are Elizabeth and Marley. Our school councillors are Freya, Cabhan and Neil.
Throughout the year, we will study topics including, The Tudors, weather, Roald Dahl’s Fantastic Mr Fox, The Romans and bright lights and big cities. We have trips planned including Oakwell Hall, Murton Park and our 3 day residential to Boggle Hole on the 18th, 19th and 20th of May. We can’t wait! Our community project is linked with ‘Friends of Stanley Marsh’, which aims to keep the areas tidy and helping the environment.
PE will be on a Wednesday morning for the first half term and will revert back to Tuesday afternoons for the rest of the year. Swimming will be on Friday afternoons until the February half term. At the end of the week, one lucky pupil, will earn the ‘Student of the week’ and get to take Ted home for the weekend!
