Visit from RNLI

We may be a bunch of landlubbers here in Outwood but everyone needs to be aware of the dangers of entering water and so today the children enjoyed an informative visit from a volunteer in the RNLI.  

Year 2 visit from BBC’s Abbie Dewhurst

Our Year 2 classes had a visit from Abbie Dewhurst, a weather presenter on BBC Look North.  They learned all sorts of interesting facts about the weather and had the opportunity to have some of their questions answered.

Terrible Tudors

Miss Carter’s class and Mr. Morrell’s class have hosted a fun afternoon of Tudor activities for parents.  We made shields with our family coat-of-arms, Tudor sweets (or marchpane if you watch The Great British Bake Off) and did some Tudor dancing with Miss Padgett.
